Eu e Matthias fomos juntos hoje pela primeira vez levar o Daniel para conhecer a creche onde ele  estará a partir de terça que vem, quando volto ao trabalho por 6 horas diárias. Foi tudo jóia lá! Eu já gostava do local e da educadora responsável, e o Matthias também gostou. É  uma instituição privada e portanto cara, mas estamos investindo no nosso filho, nosso maior bem, e eu estou mantendo meu emprego numa empresa que fica pertinho daqui de casa, onde trabalho na minha área e gosto do ambiente de trabalho e dos meus colegas de trabalho.

Pois é, como o tempo passa rápido... Eu fiquei ao todo quase 6 meses em casa e agradeço imensamente a Deus por este grande presente, um dos maiores da minha vida: o tempo em casa e meu querido filho, o Daniel, que chegou para tornar nossa família completa. Aprendi muito, deixei de lado meus pensamentos contra as mulheres que decidem ficar em casa cuidando de seus filhos, entendo que cada pessoa escolhe o que acha ser melhor pra sua vida, assim como estou, a cada dia, escolhendo para a minha.

O Daniel já está com 5,6 kgs e mede 62 cm. Ele é um menino super bem humorado, adora pessoas ao seu lado e ama passear, ver coisas novas, estar em movimento (não sei quem foi que ele puxou!...). Tem uma carinha de sapeca, é super saudável e ri de uma maneira contagiante! Agradeço muito a Deus por esta dádiva e este sonho concretizado, que arrancou de mim toda a coragem de ter dois filhos, continuar trabalhando e batalhando a vida.

Kabbalists teach us that there are four areas that form the “short circuits” of human existence.  Part of our spiritual journey, from the beginning of the month of Virgo through Yom Kippur (10 days after Rosh Hashanah), is to meditate on these four areas and to grasp how they have affected our lives during the past year. The Zohar explains that the last twelve months are like a karmic mirror of what will happen in the next twelve months.  It is important that we go through this self-examination process if we want this year to be better than the last.

(Each area has a name that might seem biblical and out of date.  But they are actually code words that that are not meant to be interpreted literally.)

Idol Worship 
This includes our desire for things that we believe will make us happy, but in reality will not.  If our actions are driven by the need for power, beauty, money, social stature or any of the 1% things in life, we must examine that and work to change it (this is not to say these things are negative, only that they tend to control us.) Other examples are: addictions and obsessions of any kind, extreme anger, laziness, and not helping someone grow spiritually when the opportunity arises.

Unfounded fears and selfish desires also fall into this category.  
 
Bloodshed
This is the area where we have been insensitive, where our anger has controlled our actions, where we have allowed our “position” in life to hurt others - be it intentional or accidental. The thought that our ideas are right, and others are wrong, is a recipe for failure. 
 
Adultery
This is the area were we covet or want something that isn’t ours.  Jealousy and envy are emotions that erode our lives.  Lies and deceptions fall into this category. Lack of appreciation for all the blessings in our lives is also part of that same short circuit.
 
Evil Tongue
Using the power of words without the intention of truly sharing is considered to be evil tongue.  Even just listening to negative speech is considered evil tongue. The worst level is to speak words that will not inspire people to connect to the Light.   
 
We have all short-circuited in the above mentioned categories.  And although it is strange to say, this realization should excite us, because the month of Virgo means Virgin (the time before anything was defiled).  This means that if we work on ourselves during this time, we can cleanse our souls and start anew. 
 
The tools for change require the following:

Meditate at least once a day by first visualizing the 72 Name below - it will help you to travel back in time.  Ask “the Light” to remind you of your negative actions from the last year.  Then go through these steps:
Identify the incident…ask yourself why it happened…is it because you didn’t trust “the Light” to take care of you?  
 
Feel the pain of what occurred…not the guilt, but the pain.  It is the best way to work through the lesson.  We can circle problems our whole lives, but the only way to rid ourselves of the burden of our negative issues is
to face them head on and work through them. 
 
Replay the scenario…what could you have done differently…how will you handle the same sort of situation next time? 
 
Make a commitment for the future.  Make an oath to yourself that you will deal with similar situations in a new manner this year.

Good Luck!  Remember that the more we want to see the areas we can change, the more the garbage will come up.
